A Wing Joint Born from Pure Passion

Wing Snob was born in 2014 out of a backyard cookout in Warren, Michigan. Founder Marcus Reed had one rule when it came to wings: no shortcuts, no soggy breading, and definitely no weak sauces. What started as friends and neighbors crowding his driveway turned into a full-blown restaurant with a loyal following across Metro Detroit.

We opened our doors at 30800 Van Dyke Ave because we believed Warren deserved a wing spot that treated the craft seriously. Not just thrown-together fast food, but wings that were made with genuine care — from the dry rub to the finishing toss in house-made sauce.

Every recipe on our menu has been tested, tweaked, and perfected over hundreds of batches. We source fresh, never-frozen chicken, blend our sauces in-house, and fry to order. That's the Wing Snob standard — and we're not about to compromise it.

2014

The Backyard Beginning

Marcus Reed hosts his first large-scale wing cookout in his Warren driveway. Neighbors line up for hours. The feedback is unanimous: "You need to open a restaurant."

2015

Wing Snob Opens Its Doors

The first Wing Snob location opens at 30800 Van Dyke Ave. Twelve sauces, two wing styles, and a 60-seat dining room. Opening day sells out in under three hours.

2017

The Sauce Lab Launches

We build a dedicated sauce development kitchen and expand our lineup to 20 varieties. The Ghost Pepper Inferno and Honey Sriracha Glaze become instant fan favorites.

2019

Metro Detroit's Wing Award

Wing Snob is named "Best Wings in Metro Detroit" by Detroit Monthly magazine. The recognition brings a wave of new customers and validates years of relentless recipe refinement.

2021

Delivery & Online Ordering Expand

We launch our own delivery operation with dedicated drivers and real-time tracking — ensuring wings arrive hot, crispy, and properly sauced. No third-party quality compromise.

2023

Catering & Events Program Launches

Wing Snob officially launches its catering division, serving corporate events, weddings, and game-day parties across Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties.
